When this camera didn’t work right, the owner saw a chance to use an empty milk bottle to make it better. A simple cut-out later, and the flash is diffused, making for much better pictures. If MacGyver was a photographer, we think he would have done this to his dying camera as well.

9. This High Class Chandelier

When damage makes a chandelier less than appealing, just strap a milk crate to it and call it good. This amazing work of art, or engineering, was definitely done by someone who watched the show. How else would they come up with such an interesting, and honestly pretty idea?

8. This Car Mirror

While it might not be the safest, this mirror would defiantly get you home. The owner didn’t snap off the bottom, making it completely possible to use the mirror for their next repair as well. This is both smart and fast, a repair truly worthy of the Macgyver name.

Everyone knows you need water, and that you need to look your best. When faced with a broken shower, these college student quickly jumped into action to fix it back up. The Mountain Dew bottle is a clear example of working with what you have on hand.

6. This Lego Table

Finding an old broken down table is usually a sad thing, but not for this family. Instead, the table was covered with legos and had a piece of glass put on top. Now it looks classy and amazing, not giving any indication that it was once a sad and less than appealing piece of furniture. We just hope that there isn’t a kid missing their legos now.

Rips, stains, and spills are no match for the power of duct tape. This family re-did their whole couch in different colors, making it both cute and safe from any children. The best part is that you can change the colors over and over, giving you unlimited repair capability.

Most people would have looked at this broken fan and thrown it away, but most people aren’t set to become the next Macgyver. With just a water bottle and some patience, this fan has a new life. The water bottle almost looks like it belongs, showing at the owner did some very careful engineering.

3. This Shoe Hack

While most people would just throw out a shoe with a hole, this young runner knew that they could fix it within a few minutes. With a jean patch on it, this shoe will work just fine for a long time to come. There wasn’t even sewing involved as the owner just glued the patch with the provided adhesive from the patch package.

When you think of duct tape, you usually don’t think of it being completely structurally sound, however this pilot did. Upon having part of his plane stripped away, the pilot re-did it completely with duct tape and a little patience. The best part is that the plane survived the flight home, showing that their repair was truly one of a kind.

Someone has been patching holes in walls with legos, making them look fun, and showing just how secure these little blocks really are. While it might give you a double take at first, the building blocks are holding up rather well. WE applaud whoever thought of this as a solution and wonder what MacGyver would have done with legos if he was given a chance.
