The nutritional value of peas has been heavily debated by nutritionists for ages. For some, the pea is just another starchy vegetable that turns to sugar which leads to fat gain, for others a vegetable is a vegetable and it’s good to eat more of them. The truth is peas aren’t bad for you per say, but they are known for their absorption of high levels of pesticides. So if you can, go organic to avoid potential health issues.
