12. DIY Slow- Drip Irrigation System
Irrigation systems for home gardens can get really expensive, which is why a DIY version is going to save you hundreds on the system itself and the water it provides your plants. If you’re in a zone that doesn’t get enough rain, try making a slow drip irrigation system out of large soda bottles. This way no water gets wasted because all the plant’s needs get directly into the soil at the perfect time. Take any size water bottle, cut a few small holes, and place it in or on top of the soil.
