19. Sleep Cycle App



While there are hundreds, maybe even thousands of sleep apps out there, Sleep Cycle happens to be the number one rated sleep app in the US. At this point, we’re sure you’ve heard of apps that track your sleep, but in case you haven’t, here’s how it works. To begin monitoring your sleep, download the app, lay your phone on your nightstand closest to where you sleep, and wake to sleep graphs that evaluate how your slumber went. The Sleep Cycle app listens to your movement throughout the night using your device’s built-in microphone. It then identifies when you’ve hit a specific stage of sleep (light to REM) and wakes you during your lightest sleep. Once waking up in the morning starts to feel easier, you’re sure to be hooked!
