Bringing it back to China, we have the Ming Dynasty, which lasted for 276 years. The Ming Dynasty is the most widely known because of it’s stability of government and people and was the last dynasty of the ethic Han Chinese. The Dynasty almost fell when the capital Beijing was taken over in 1644 by rebel forces, but thanks to the vastness and allies of the Ming Dynasty, it lasted until 1683. The focus for most of the Dynasty was to create a self-sufficient rural class, which would always guarantee permanent military support. During the 16th century expansion of European trade brought new crops, animals, and cuisine to China which helped plump up their population from previous famine.
