Huge Family
Dolly has a huge family. She is one of eleven children! She grew up in the Great Smoky Mountains with a family who was “dirt poor.” She was born on January 19, 1946 in Tennessee. Her father was a construction worker and a farmer while her mother was a stay-at-home mom. They didn’t have a large home either. All of them lived in a one-room cabin.
