The weeping fig, or known as the Ficus Benjamin, is a tall flowering waxy leaf plant that is very popular for indoor gardens because of the height and striking look. In nature this giant can reach up to 98 feet and indoors you can expect about three to four feet. What’s so special about these sturdy trees is that the waxy and glossy leaves droop down giving any room an etherial look. The weeping fig is native to parts of Asia and Australia but with today’s modern wonders you can have this beautiful natural piece of art almost anywhere.

The weeping fig is going to be best in a large pot in the house unless you wanting it taking over any indoor/outdoor boxes or patches because the roots grow quick and strong. The beautiful twist in the trunks are unique to each tree and when you’re caring for the plant be careful not to change the lighting to dramatically because the leaves will fall off and replace themselves, leaving your tree a little sparse.
