6. Croton
This eye catching plant made the list for obvious reasons—look at all those colors! They will flourish in warm and highly lit environments due to their Indonesian origin. You can expect your croton to have leaves ranging from orange, green, yellow, red and occasionally pink. Being native to such a warm and tropical climate these plants will need to be kept in a nice humid environment and be sure to keep the soil damp at all times.
Keeping these colorful plants in bright colored pots or hanging them from the ceiling will keep them the center of the room, filling your home with positive energy and clean air.
