9. Corn
Corn is a delicious treat for a BBQ on a hot summer day, and one of the most used vegetables around. Whether it’s being ground into corn meal for baking or processed into a syrup, corn has become an integral staple in the American diet. However, it’s important to point out that corn has suffered from severe genetic modification over the years and now hardly resembles the original vegetable it once was.
