25. Accusations of Plagiarism
The show’s similarities to the movie “Yours, Mine and Ours” (1968) brought on quite a bit of raised eyebrows. The producers of the film were so incredulous by the sameness that they threatened to sue Brady Brunch producer Sherwood Schwartz for taking their idea as well as plot summary. Sherwood revealed that the notes and outline for the series had been written a year or two before their idea.
