23. Tiger the Dog and The Unsolved Mystery
The boy’s dog, Tiger, made appearances only in season 1 before mysteriously disappearing. The dog who played the character was actually killed by a car before the filming of episode 5 was completed. The dog’s replacement was so difficult that producers scratched his role out completely. Fans of the show would notice that Tiger’s doghouse would stay on set mostly because one of the studio lights had burned a hole through a spot that it covered.
