When the film debuted to wide success, there was actually quite a bit of talk about a sequel. Tom Hanks, however, put the breaks on such talks when he refused to take part in a sequel. Hanks has since gone on to star in several sequel/ prequel films including Toy Story 2, Toy Story 3 as well as the DaVinci Code series.
