7. Waterproof Book Cover
A simple book cover is just two pockets that go over either side of the dust jacket, but you can spend a few more minutes to make it truly waterproof. First, add flaps to cover the top, bottom, and sides of the book. Sewing them onto the existing pattern. Then spray the entire thing with waterproofing spray and let it sit overnight. Now your book is safe to read by the pool.
