Plats mats are similar to napkins, but you need to choose a much sturdier fabric. You can make reversible placements by putting two pieces of fabric together and hemming around them. First you will want to turn the edges under, giving them a clean look when finished. You could whip up an entire set in under an hour, making it easy to personalize each and every party. Put a thin layer of poly fill between the two and then go over the inner areas with decorative stitches for a quilted look.
