Raised in Tennessee and starting her singing career in a church, you could say that Dolly has some religious part of her. “I think you need to have a great spiritual background. I grew up in a church. My grandpa was a preacher. We were taught that Jesus loved us, and we loved Jesus. In order to do that, you needed to love one another as well. I think my faith has played a big part in every single thing I do.”
