Where did the Mayans go? That is a mystery most archaeologists would love to solve. While the Mayans left their perfectly preserved cities behind, little evidence has been found as to what led to their demise. Many believe a drought could have wiped out the Mayans, while others believe disease was their demise. The facts of the situation do not add up: the Mayan civilization was at its peak in 900 A.D. and then quickly disappeared without a trace. What do you think happened?
