One of the world’s most famous landmarks, Stonehenge is a ring of megalithic stones that confounds archaeologists to this day.  Built over 4,000 years ago, many have theorized on the purpose of the monument, with some believing it was an ancient temple of healing and others concluding it’s an astronomical observatory. Currently, the site is a huge point of interest for tourists and religious groups, with Wiccans holding a festival every year to celebrate the Solstice.
